Lone Oak has been selling bulk milk to a dairy for pasteurization and sale to various stores for nearly 100 years! In 2016, we received our permit to sell raw milk on the farm. In 2017, we received our permit to be able to sell our milk off of the farm through drop points and farmers' markets- we're so excited! Our 40 cow herd is made up of mostly Jerseys and a few Holsteins who are primarily raised on several acres of grass pasture. We are proud to produce high-quality milk while we raise happy, healthy cows. For more information about our milk, click on the cow to the left.
Lone Oak hens are pasture-raised, with access to high-quality forage, fresh water, and a warm coop 24/7. Their eggs taste great and provide a great source of protein, vitamins, and more.
Starting in 2017, our farm added on a commercial kitchen where we make delicious homemade baked goods twice each week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays). We offer bread, cinnamon rolls (a customer favorite), lunch rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cheesecakes, and more! To see this month's menu, click here. We also accept pre-orders! Contact us for more information.
Our goal is to provide healthy, sustainable food to the local community. We grow fruits and vegetables- everything from lettuce to watermelons to tomatoes. Everything is seasonally dependent, but we also utilize a greenhouse in order to be able to continue growing through the start of the winter season. We pride ourselves on our high-quality variety of hand-picked produce and strive to use only natural methods for weed, disease, and pest control.
We now offer both beef and pork! The beef comes from our farm, is primarily pasture raised, and does not contain any growth hormones, steroids, or soy. The pork is raised on Ryan's farm right down the road and also does not contain any hormones, steroids, or soy. We are working to expand our meat offerings so check back for updates!
